Our young racers start their journey with karts tuned to 50% power. GKL’s expert coaches closely monitor their skills, guiding them to unlock the full potential of the karts at every power setting, whilst maintaining safe control and adhering to racing protocols.

Environment: Flags, Meanings & Actions, Pit Entry and Exit, Safe Spin Re-entry, Track Awareness.

Race craft:  Oversteer / Understeer, Wet circuit techniques, Traffic management.

Racing Line: Hairpin corners, Complexes, 90 Degree Corners, Full-Throttle Corners.

Race wear: We can provide Suit - Helmet - Gloves. Trainers as footwear are acceptable. 

I acknowledge that I must attend the mandatory Driver Briefings to participate in the sessions.

Please enter the racer's GKL Driver_ID. If you don't yet have an ID, you'll need to create one on the GKL website.

Age: From 6yrs old until the end of the year of 9th birthday.
Weight: From 19kg.
Height: From 110cm to 128cm

Bambino (Age 6 - 9)

Age: From start of year of 8th birthday until end of year of 13th birthday.
Weight: From 27kg.
Height: From 122cm to 156cm.

Cadet (Age 8 - 13)

Age: From start of year of 13th birthday until end of year of 17th birthday.
Weight: From 40kg.
Height: From 153cm to 190cm.

Terms and Conditions for Global Karting League Ticket Sales 

1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the sale of tickets for karting events organized by Global Karting League, operated by Smedley Motorsport Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). 

1.2. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. 

2.1. We offer individual event tickets and season tickets that grant the holder access to multiple events over a specified time period.. 

2.2. All tickets are issued as e-tickets. 

2.3. From time to time, we may offer early bird discounts, group rates, or other special promotions. Specific terms and conditions for these offers will be communicated at the time they are made available and will be subject to these T&Cs unless otherwise stated. 

3.1. The specific number of events included in a season ticket will be communicated at the time of purchase. 

a) No refunds will be issued if you no longer wish to attend an event. 

b) At our discretion, we may offer a credit against a future event if the request is made more than 4 weeks before the event date. 

4.3. Event Cancellation or Postponement: 

a) If we postpone or reschedule an event, you will have the option to attend the rescheduled event or request a credit against a future event. 

b) Credit requests must be made within one week of our announcement of the new event date. 

c) For season ticket holders, any credit will be calculated on a pro-rata basis against the total season ticket cost and the number of events in the season. 

d) In cases of force majeure (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control), no credit or refund will be available. 

5.1. Tickets may be transferred to another person if the original ticket holder cannot attend, subject to availability in the correct age and weight category. 

5.2. Ticket resales are strictly prohibited. 

6.1. Participation in events is restricted to individuals aged between 5.5 and 18 years old. 

7.1. All participants must complete and sign required safety waivers on the day of the event before racing. 

8.1. By attending our events, you agree to be photographed and filmed. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes. 

9.1. Our handling of customer data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website. 

10.1. Smedley Motorsport Ltd's liability is limited to the face value of the ticket purchased. 

11.1. These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

13.1. If you have any complaints or issues regarding your ticket purchase or event experience, please contact us at info@globalkartingleague.com. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve the issue within 14 working days. 

13.2. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through our internal complaints process, we may recommend mediation as a means of resolving the issue. Both parties must agree to the mediation process. 

13.3. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. You agree that any legal proceedings related to your ticket purchase or event attendance will be brought in the courts of the United Kingdom. 

13.4. We are committed to providing a high-quality experience and will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently. 

14.1. Arrival times and the event schedule will be communicated to ticket holders prior to the event. 

14.2. Please note that arrival times and the event schedule are subject to change up until the event commences. Any changes will be communicated to ticket holders as soon as possible. 

15.1. All participants are required to adhere to the health and safety guidelines provided by Global Karting League. 

15.2. Specific equipment requirements vary by event type and are detailed on our website. Participants must review these requirements prior to the event to ensure they have the necessary equipment. 

15.3. Failure to comply with the required health and safety measures or equipment guidelines may result in disqualification from participation without a refund.
